Lively Linseed Chocolate Brownie

Consuming 2 tablespoons of milled linseed daily can have major health benefits. An easy way to add linseed to your diet is to use it in your favourite recipes. Try this Lively Linseed Chocolate Brownie recipe – it both tastes good and is good for you!


  • ¼ cup butter
  • 125g cooking chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 3 eggs
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • ¼ cup Lively Linseed Breakfast Boost


Try adding some chopped nuts to the mix – or sprinkle on top just before baking.


  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees celcius.
  2. Place chocolate and butter in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on 50% power approx 2½ minutes until butter and chocolate are melted, stir.
  3. In a bowl, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla lightly. Add chocolate mixture and stir in flour and Breakfast Boost.
  4. Pour into a lined tray, bake for 30 mins.
